All I Want For Christmas New Mom Edition

1. A nap.  One without interruptions and for as many hours as I need it to be.

2. A pair of skinny jeans that fit and look good.  Let’s be honest, I’m still wearing my maternity skinny jeans, among other maternity clothes.

3. A good concealer for dark under eye circles.  Makeup is not my “thing”, but I do throw a little on every day.  Someone tell me a darn good concealer that I can rub on and go!

4. An energy drink that actually gives you more energy.  Mello Yello is my go-to, but it’s not cutting it anymore.

5. For my baby Cooper to have the best first Christmas ever!  He has no clue what’s going on this year and I haven’t bought him the first toy, but that’s okay, it’s still going to be a good one.

Is this asking too much?!

Postpartum Workout Inspiration

Can I just tell you that I’m 9 weeks postpartum and it’s time to get into some kind of workout routine?  Enter, postpartum workout inspiration:  new workout clothes, a new workout program, and my three favorite fitness accounts on Instagram.

Lately, I just haven’t had the motivation.  Before I became pregnant, I was seeing great results with the 21 Day Fix program and then, BOOM, I’m pregnant… See ya later workouts!  I had no energy and wanted to spend as much time being lazy as I could because I knew my “me” time would be ending before too long.  #selfish

New workout clothes always gives me that extra bit of inspiration I need to get a good workout in.  There’s just something about putting them on and sweating in them.  Please tell me I’m not the only one who gets inspiration from this?!  I love this sports bra and top c/o the Both provide so much comfort and support.  I love that the tank top has a built in bra and purple is one of my top colors!

I purchased the Piyo program from Beachbody before Cooper, but never tried it out.  Laziness, see what I mean?  Piyo is a combination of Pilates and Yoga and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be my favorite workout yet!  Especially since I have a new Yoga mat and block to try out.  I’ve only done the Yoga portion of the 21 Day Fix, so I’m excited to give this a try.
